More Rapid Viz/Ind Rendering

Image
Here's some more Rapid Visualization/Industrial Rendering using exploded views and projecting moving parts.  As well as some branding and logo design incorporated into the development of the pieces.

Rapid Visualization/Industrial Rendering

Here's some stuff for Rapid Visualization/Industrial Rendering that I was able to finally scan in (since IT here at AiS set-up the larger scanner properly...)  This was a made-up infographic concept... My design for a pencil sharpener... My novelty plasticware, "Eat With My Hands!!!" Fun with shapes and exploded views:

Highly Defined Logo - aka HD Logo

I was very fortunate to decide to take Typography this last quarter at the Art Institute, because I was able to be a student to Sigrid Cannon.  She is an incredible wealth of knowledge, yet unfortunately, she decided to retire at the end of this quarter.  The beauty of her class though was that she pushed me to create immense amounts of work and for the final, we had to make a book based on typography.  I used all my original work and wrote the body copy inside the book as well.  The most vital thing of the whole endeavor was that it forced upon me to start learning Adobe InDesign.  What an amazing program... here is the book cover I generated:

"Where's Wekesa?"

There's a little more to this panel, but I will explain it at later time.  I have some work to do in the wood shop, so I have my material cut for my Advanced Model Making class.  I wanted to get this posted though, since I finally finished it to a level of my liking... I might possibly tweak it more later.

Dragon Rider

Image
I just finished a tattoo piece for one of my friends from the John C. Stennis.  The banner on the top reads, "Mrith wer kornari di vi Darastrix, yth vihaga!"  This is Draconic for, "With the heart of a Dragon, we ride!"  Another original from the mind of Thomas A. Beck inspired and commissioned by Bill Eisinger.

Underwater Adventures

Here is the final composition that I created for my Advanced Life Drawing class.  It was to be inspired by the Seattle Aquarium that we visited during the 8th week of class.  Since I would like to ultimately move toward concept art for everything, I tried to make an underwater scene with humanoid creatures but not necessarily human.  Hope you like it.

The Dragonster

I finally finished my Clay Model-Making class this quarter.  Learned a decent amount about a certain style of Chavant modelling clay.  Here are some pictures of my rotated clay piece and my final project, "The Dragonster."  I had to turn it in for my final grade, but I will continue to stylize and work on the wheels, wheel-wells and exhaust manifolds for completion as a portfolio piece.
