Highly Defined Logo - aka HD Logo

I was very fortunate to decide to take Typography this last quarter at the Art Institute, because I was able to be a student to Sigrid Cannon.  She is an incredible wealth of knowledge, yet unfortunately, she decided to retire at the end of this quarter.  The beauty of her class though was that she pushed me to create immense amounts of work and for the final, we had to make a book based on typography.  I used all my original work and wrote the body copy inside the book as well.  The most vital thing of the whole endeavor was that it forced upon me to start learning Adobe InDesign.  What an amazing program... here is the book cover I generated:

"Where's Wekesa?"

There's a little more to this panel, but I will explain it at later time.  I have some work to do in the wood shop, so I have my material cut for my Advanced Model Making class.  I wanted to get this posted though, since I finally finished it to a level of my liking... I might possibly tweak it more later.

Dragon Rider

I just finished a tattoo piece for one of my friends from the John C. Stennis.  The banner on the top reads, "Mrith wer kornari di vi Darastrix, yth vihaga!"  This is Draconic for, "With the heart of a Dragon, we ride!"  Another original from the mind of Thomas A. Beck inspired and commissioned by Bill Eisinger.
